Diversity in American Literature

In this reflective assignment, we were assigned to touch on different points in the folktales we read in "Heath Anthology of American Literature Volume C". I learned a lot about how folktales came to be, mostly to pass stories on to different generations- and also to teach a lesson through a story representing another story. I found this assignment very interesting, and it definitely enlightened me on subjects in American Literature.
